The Act on the Supervision of Social and Health Care entered into force on 1 January 2024. Under it, a service provider must supervise the quality and appropriateness of its own and its subcontractors' operations, as well as client and patient safety. At Lastensuojelupalvelut Nummenlinna Oy, self-monitoring is carried out on the basis of unit-specific self-monitoring plans and a provider-level self-monitoring programme, which form the framework for self-monitoring in practical work. The quality, appropriateness and client safety of our operations are assessed regularly within the work community, and a monitoring report on the self-monitoring plan is recorded every four months.
